Facts: Client hired firm after receiving a complaint from BON regarding violations of the standard of care. Specifically, BON alleged that our client dropped organs in the operating room and committed other acts of misconduct.
Outcome: Firm submitted a response to BON regarding the allegations and argued that client’s conduct was isolated and accidental. Along with the response, the firm included evidence of client’s character and argued that disciplinary action was not needed to prevent future incidents or deter client’s conduct in the future. After several years, BON dismissed the matter and took no action against the client’s license.
