Amy Cadwell is a 2007 graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, having obtained her Bachelors of Business Administration from LeTourneau University. While a student at the Law Center, the Houston Journal of Health Law and Policy published Amy’s article, written during her second year, in their Fall 2006 edition. In the decade following her graduation from law school, Amy served as a criminal prosecutor, first in Nacogdoches and Navarro Counties and then moving into the specialized criminal prosecution unit with the Texas Attorney General’s Office. During her time as a prosecutor, Amy tried over fifty (50) cases before a jury, with a success rate of over 85%. After concluding her years in public service. Amy worked for a time as a contract attorney, gaining experience in a variety of legal specializations, concentrating on discovery and motion practice. Prior to joining Bertolino LLP, Amy also spent time engaged in cases involving workers’ compensation, and insurance defense.
When Amy is not advocating on behalf of her clients, she spends time being entertained by her cats, Ducky Rose and Scout Lee, playing guitar, and hanging out with her nieces/nephew.
